In 2011, the Freedom of Information Advocates Network(FOIAnet) prepared а special poster to be used by FOI advocates to promote 28 September - The Right to Know Day.
 
A three-minute video was made which emphasizes why the Right to Know Day is so important for FOI advocates around the world. 
 
Access to Information Programme also contributed to the making of the video. It was broadcast at ceremonies, pressconferences and discussions organized by the FOIAnet members on the Right to Know Day.
